Summary:
Responsible for documentation control of the Quality Management System.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining updated documentation within the Quality Management System.
Job Duties:
Ensure the Quality Management System is adequately protected (e.
g.
from loss of confidentiality, improper use, or loss of integrity).
Update procedures, ensuring their distribution, access, retrieval, and use.
Maintain storage and preservation, including preservation of legibility.
Maintain control of changes updated (e.
g.
version control) in the network of the organization Maintain the Retention and disposition of the documentation.
Monitor and upload new procedures and modifications to the network of the organization.
Ensure and maintain the process maps, diagrams of the organization, management review reports and others required by the IATF16949 standard updated in the network of the organization.
Socialize the Quality policy and any other documents relevant for the QMS within the organization.
Maintaining documented information of external origin determined by the organization to be necessary for the planning and operation of the quality management system shall be identified as appropriate and controlled.
Provide support during the certification and recertification audit as needed.
Maintain a matrix of how the requirements of IATF16949 standard are addressed by the organization's processes updated (Matrix IATF Requirement-Procedure or other document of compliance).
Perform internal audits about the documentation used in the shop floor related to the Quality Management Systems making sure they are not using obsolete documents or not updated revision.
Check and close nonconformities found in the audits mentioned in the previous point.
Ensure that the information used to update Procedures, Work instructions, Forms, List, Tables, or other related to the IATF16949 standard and Customer Specific Requirements meet the requirements required.
Participate in improving the documentation control in all areas withing the organization providing creativity if needed.
Education &
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have at least one year of previous data entry or clerical experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines/targets.
Ability to identify and effectively resolve problems based on data collection and analysis.
Ability to communicate effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizations.
Ability to connect with a highly diverse workforce.
Ability to work in office and plant environment.
Ability to work as a part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications/programs.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Working Knowledge of Quality Systems within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to frequently carry with two hands, push and pull weights between 10 lbs.
and 50 lbs.
(weights may increase under abnormal conditions).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
