Summary:
This position will primarily support the Gage Lab and Calibration of all gages & equipment that are used to provide Quality Assurance of produced parts.
Job Duties:
Make sure that instruments, gages and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings.
Purchase, calibrate & register all necessary gages that are used in the manufacturing process.
Manage gage calibration schedule & log register.
Audit production lines to ensure that gages are available and/or being used correctly.
Work with team members, TLs, SVs, and support groups to achieve targets.
Keep records of and collect data for projects he/she is supporting at HMM-AR.
Support implementation of Kaizen and ECI activities Support and adhere to HMM-AR policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively support multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines/targets.
Determine root cause, by identifying and effectively resolving problems, based on data collection and analysis.
Ability to read drawing and interpret drawings.
Familiarity with gages such as caliper, micrometers, indicators, Joe blocks, attribute gages and other gages as required ensuring quality of parts is desired but not required.
Experience with CMM, Contracer, Roundness Tester is a plus but not required.
Ability to learn unfamiliar process concepts, primarily through hands on work, observation, and research, mechanically inclined and able to understand the importance of datums and trouble shooting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of 5S/TPS principles Must be flexible in shift or rotation.
Ability to self-supervise, complete tasks, assignments, and projects on time.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Maintain confidentiality of information for all Hino and Customer parts and processes.
Education and
Experience:
Leadership experience required.
Automotive manufacturing environment experience is required.
High School Diploma or GED Physical Demands:

Ability to handle 75lb objects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
