Responsibilities include (but not limited to) greeting patients upon arrival and triaging, scheduling appointments, pulling insurance benefits/authorizations and discussing benefits with patients, pulling and filing paperwork, patient check in, pre-testing, frame styling, discussion of different lens options, verifying, dispensing, adjusting, and repairing frames, instructing proper contact lens insertion & removal, eyewear dispensing, visual field, & OCT testing.
Good computer skills are a must.
As a small office, all of our employees are cross trained to assist in all positions, including pretesting patients, dispensing contact lenses and glasses, etc.
The ideal candidate must be positive & friendly with strong verbal & math skills that works cooperatively with other employees.
Optical or medical office experience preferred.
Pay is dependent upon prior relevant experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
